Our History

In 2001 i started my business venture in Shanghai, China. With only US$600 and a heart of courage, i travelled the same road that Marco Polo use to walk on.

I remembered very clearly that my first purchase of a box of pen is subjected to a minimum quantity of 10 boxes (Yi Qian in Chinese) and i hand carry the packet of 500 pens in two big plastic bag back to Shanghai.

At the airport i was charged RMB880(US$120) for overweight luggage.

I learned 3 very important lesson from this first business venture:

1) To be careful in selecting the right product to buy based on a sound business judgement or else goods bought cannot be sold. All the expenses will go down the drain if i made a wrong decision.

2) The overweight luggage cost more than the postage had the item been handled by a middleman. Added on to it is the frustration of goods being damage during transportation to the airport.

3) Valuable time was wasted in travelling to China at the expense of good health.

6 years back i hope someone would be doing what i am doing today in helping small and medium enterprises to reduce the hassle of what i have gone through.
